chromosome results
We got a call from our perinatologist and the chromosome results (for downs syndrome, Trisomy 18, etc.) are negative. We praise God for these results as there was mention of him having both skeletal and chromosome problems. We are still waiting on the results from the other part of the test. Any day now we will be finding out if our baby has a lethal diagnosis. Every day seems so long, and I pray that when we do get the call we hear good results. We are praying for our babys life. For a miracle.

hang in there! That waiting period was so awful, and then when they thought our son had a lethal diagnosis, I wasn't sure I'd make it through to the end, but somehow you we did, and I didn't have a clue what God had in store for us...actually, neither did the doctors! We'll keep you in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteokay, I just read all of your blog. Guess I should have done that first. Your story sounds so horribly familiar. They told us a lot of the same things they told you. They did not expect our baby to survive because of his small chest, so that is definitely a good thing for your little guy! Even still, Grant is doing fabulous, and though he has a lot of trials ahead of him, he is so sweet, and I am so glad we have him! We'll keep following your story!
ReplyDeleteGood morning.. I have been reading this blog and I know how your heart must be breaking.... I have worked for an OB/gyn for over 6 years now.. and I have seen and heard some of these life changing obstacles families have to go thru.. I have cried with them, I have laughed with them.. I do know that God is a loving God and he knows your need before you even pray it.. He has already been thru what your going thru now, and He is there already holding you and your husband in the palm of his hands.. Whatever the future holds, just remember that God chose you to carry this precious child, for one reason or another, and We are only human and question why could this happen?, and that God has told us in his word, that He would never leave us nor forsake us.. He has prmised to go with us all the way, not part of the way... I will be praying for you and that God will strengthen you and this precious baby boy inside you , and only God can do a miracle.... and heal both you and this baby..
ReplyDeleteTrust in HIM with your whole heart.. and he will guide you.... If you need to cry, CRY, if you need to scream, SCREAM, dont keep it bottled up inside you, cry out to God and he hears us... You have touched my heart today, Please keep us posted on everything...
